The Watauga Gorge is an extreme trip that requires you to be at least 18 years of age, healthy and in good shape. This one is for the athlete. If you are looking for the extreme trip that compares to nothing else, look no further.

This is a world class adventure. It's an extreme river that travels over 5 miles over gorgeous mountainous wilderness and is continuously Class III, IV, and V rapids the entire way. The numerous Class IV and V rapids bear such names as "Hydro", "Nuckles", "Up Against The Wall", "Tennessee The Hard Way", and "Heavy Water" to name a few.

This trip is done in one-person inflatable kayaks and small rafts whenever the water is high enough. You may not be able to remeber what you got for Christmas this year, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that you will never forget.
